- You must be of legal marriageable age according to the laws of India (currently 18 years or older for females, and 21 years or older for males).
- You must be legally single, divorced, or widowed. We do not support dating or casual relationship matchmaking.
- You must provide accurate, truthful, and complete identity details. Creating accounts with fake names, stolen photos, or falsified information is strictly prohibited.
2. Account Security & Verification
To ensure a safe community, we mandate account verification:
- Identity Audits: We require new registrations to complete verification checks (such as Aadhaar, selfie verification, and mobile verification). You agree to provide valid documentation for this purpose.
- Credentials Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (OTP codes/passwords) and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
- Single Account: Each user may only maintain one active profile on the platform. Multiple accounts or proxy accounts for non-family members will be deactivated.
3. Code of Conduct
As a member of HimMatch, you agree to act respectfully and honorably. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of your membership:
- Uploading content or media that is offensive, profane, obscene, or infringing on intellectual property.
- Harassing, abusing, spamming, or sending unsolicited commercial promotions to other members.
- Misrepresenting your educational qualifications, income, professional status, marital status, or family background.
- Attempting to solicit financial assistance, loans, or money from other matrimonial seekers under any pretext.
4. Premium Memberships and Billing
We offer optional premium membership tiers (Silver, Gold, Elite) containing advanced communication options, contact access, and enhanced matching algorithms:
- Subscription Terms: Fees for premium plans are billed in advance at the start of your selected billing cycle.
- Refund Policy: All subscription payments are final and non-refundable. Since our digital matches and contact information are unlocked instantly, we do not issue partial refunds for unused days of a billing cycle, except as required by local law.
5. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
While we use advanced verification tools to calculate Trust Scores, HimMatch does not guarantee the final authenticity of the information provided by our users:
- We strongly advise all matrimonial seekers and their families to perform independent background checks and family inquiries before finalizing any marriage alliance.
- HimMatch shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from meetings, relationships, or marriages arranged through our platform.
6. Termination of Service
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently terminate your access to HimMatch at our sole discretion, without notice or liability, if we believe you have violated these Terms of Service or pose a risk to our community's safety.
7. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action arising from these terms shall be filed in courts located in Himachal Pradesh, India.
